Supporting the Foundation through your Will

Manchester United Foundation believes that all young people should have a choice in determining how their life is going to play out, and specifically, what role they are going to play in it, no matter their background or circumstance.

By leaving a gift in your Will, you can help these children.

Supporting Manchester United Foundation through your Will

Manchester United Foundation was formed in 2007 as a lasting legacy to the Busby Babes, eight of whom tragically lost their lives in the Munich Air Disaster of 6th February 1958.

The Foundation epitomises the club’s historic ethos of celebrating youth by seeking to make a difference to the lives of young people across Greater Manchester and beyond. In line with Manchester United’s youth vision championed by Sir Matt Busby and his successors, the Foundation’s mission is to empower young people with the skills to achieve their goals.

We provide effective early support to children and young people who are at risk of poor outcomes by implementing varied projects including our disability, educational and community outreach programmes. These programmes provide them with the skills and knowledge so they can reach their potential, wherever it may lie.

We target specific children and young people who will benefit most from our programmes and focus on supporting them through key aspects of their development:

1. Their physical development
2. Education and employability
3. Social and emotional wellbeing

We know, however, that we are only supporting a small proportion of children and young people whose lives may be transformed through our programmes.

We need and want to do more. We are reaching out to all those passionate about Manchester United - and this is where you could help.

All children and young people deserve the best possible start in life. By leaving a gift in your Will you could enhance the lives of others, and further our long-held tradition of championing youth development.
