A group of 30 intrepid trekkers will take on the tallest free-standing mountain in Africa as they climb to an incredible 5,895m above sea level to reach the Kilimanjaro summit.  They will be joined on this once-in-a-lifetime experience with Manchester United Legend Bryan Robson, whilst raising funds for Manchester United Foundation.

The group will spend seven days ascending to reach the summit, where they will spend their days travelling through rainforest, moorland, highland desert and finally reaching the arctic zone at the summit. 

All funds raised will support the education and community outreach programmes delivered by the Foundation in areas of high deprivation across Greater Manchester and beyond.

The Foundation is committed to improving the lives of those children and young people who need it most, and during the 2022/2023 season worked with over 25,000 young people to provide opportunities for them to feel empowered to reach their goals.
