Ability Counts is our PAN-disability football programme for young people aged 5-16, held every Friday evening at Eccles Sixth Form College.

We are pleased that Ability Counts has resumed from September for the 2020/21 season.

Under new guidelines, parents/guardians must fill in a consent form below ahead of participation in Ability Counts.

Project information:

Offering young people with disabilities the opportunity to play or coach with Manchester United, our Ability Counts programme has grown into one of the largest in the Premier League.

Teams focus on players with a sensory, physical and neurological impairment or disability and sign communicators are present at all sessions.

Sessions run weekly on Fridays from 6.30pm – 7.30pm for all abilities, disabilities, girls and boys.

The location is Eccles Sixth Form College, Chatsworth Road, Eccles, Manchester, M30 9FJ.

There are also a number of opportunities for the team to compete against other teams including the Greater Manchester Ability Counts League. For more information regarding the league please visit: https://fulltime.thefa.com/

Please bring shin pads and suitable clothing and footwear for participation on a 3G pitch.

Consent Form 2020/21

Before you attend a session

All parents and carers are asked to complete a Manchester United Foundation consent form before their child attends a Manchester United Foundation session for the first time.
