Manchester United Training Ground Tournament

The Charity Challenge is an annual football tournament, which allows you and your friends to tread the pitch of your heroes, meet United legends and receive coaching advice from the best, whilst making a difference to the lives of young people in your community.

This year's event takes place on Saturday 22nd June and kicks off at 10am.  The final whistle will blow at 4pm.

Make this a fixture you'll never forget...

Tournament rules
Charity Challenge offers amateur footballers a chance to compete in a day long, round-robin tournament. After an initial group phase leading teams will compete for the trophy, while the rest play-off for the Charity Challenge plate.  Players must be aged 16+.

Meet the Legends
Manchester United Legends will meet players throughout the day and 1968 European Cup winner, Paddy Crerand will present the trophies to the winning teams.

Making a difference
Entry costs £1000 per team of 7-10 players.  All the proceeds from your tournament entry fee will be divided equally between the Manchester United Foundation, Francis House Children’s Hospice and the Christie Charity.

Coach's notes
A member of Sir Alex’s coaching team will be on hand at the start of the event to offer tactical advice and conduct a warm-up session.

And the winner is…
All participants receive a souvenir medal and trophies will be given to the two winning teams.
