The Foundation is Three...!

Another season came to an end and yet another Premier League trophy for the first team to add to the cabinet, but the Club has also made some great achievements off the pitch.

By supporting its charity partners and taking part in national charity initiatives the Club has helped to raise over £1.4 million for charity.  This includes a huge £1085196 for our charity partners.  This will go towards projects such as a team of home care nurses for Francis House Children’s Hospice and pull down beds for parents to stay with their children in Manchester’s New Children’s Hospital.  Unicef have fundraised for projects that help to prevent the spread of HIV Aids.

As part of this fundraising effort, this year alone, we have provided 700 charities with signed merchandise for fundraising purposes.

This season we provided our 1millionth child with free football coaching as part of our long running schools programme.

We have launched exciting new projects such as Something to Chew On – which teaches primary school children about healthy eating and nutrition - and continued our existing work to develop and improve local communities.
