Friend of the Foundation

What does being a Friend of the Foundation mean?

The Manchester United Foundation has been in existence for over two years. It was set up to help manage and drive forward Manchester United's relationships with its charity partners, to support and develop the Club's Football in the Community programme and to work with the youth of Manchester.

The essence of the Foundation is to inspire potential in youth and to enable their dreams and aspirations to be fulfilled. All the programmes we support are for the benefit of young people.

These can be as varied as funding physiotherapy care for young people at The Christie Hospital through to running free to enter football coaching in schools and the local community.

On behalf of Manchester United, the Foundation manages the relationship with national and local charities and internationally with the Unicef partnership. (You may have seen some of the work done with Unicef during last summers tour of South Africa).

To be a Friend of the Foundation is to be a supporter of the work we do and to want to have a relationship with the Foundation. Within which, we endeavour to keep you in touch with all our good works and send you updates about our fundraising.

You will receive personal invitations to celebrations and events we hold and to of course make sure you get first refusal to money can't buy opportunities and experiences like the Champions Quiz Events.
