Our partnership

Kingfisher advocates Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development (SMSC) throughout every child’s Kingfisher journey. Every area of the child’s day at school promotes some area of SMSC be that playing with friends, sharing with others, exploring music and culture or meeting visitors from the community.

There are a number of different initiatives running throughout the school, including 1K a day, which aims to get the school moving for 30 minutes every morning.

We started our partnership with Kingfisher Special School in September 2015 and have recently extended the partnership to December 2024.
