Manchester United Foundation believes that it is always unacceptable for a child or adult at risk to experience abuse of any kind and recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of children and adults at risk, by a commitment to practice which protects them.

We all have a responsibility to ensure the safety and welfare of children and adults at risk, including taking appropriate steps (highlighted in our Safeguarding Policy) to ensure that suspicions and allegations of abuse and poor practice are taken seriously and reported immediately and appropriately.

As part of our commitment, Manchester United's safeguarding team support children, adults at risk and our colleagues. We have a comprehensive safeguarding policy which covers how we work safely with children and adults at risk, and how we manage concerns that are raised.
