Support our book appeal

We are hosting a book appeal to support young people across our communities who need it most.

| by Katie Salter

As part of its Month of Kindness, Manchester United Foundation is hosting a children’s book appeal throughout March, encouraging fans, staff and players to donate new and pre-loved books to children in need.

Working with national charity the Children’s Book Project, the donated books will be sorted and distributed to partner primary schools of the Foundation, impacting young people through reading, education and imagination.

Match day appeal

If you are attending Old Trafford match days in March, please bring children's books to donate at designated bag drop locations across the stadium. Donation points will be available at the men’s Aston Villa match on 15th March and the women’s Manchester City derby on 29th March. Please donate new or good quality children’s books for primary school-aged children, aged 5-11.

You can also donate at the Foundation office on Sir Matt Busby Way during office hours, 9am-5pm, Monday to Fridays.

Thank you - your support will make a huge difference to children across Greater Manchester.
