Bryan Robson will lead the Manchester United side and a whole host of legends is set to be announced from both clubs. The event also includes live entertainment from top music acts and a fun-fair, promising to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.
The match follows the success of last year's clash between United and Real Madrid legends, which raised £1 million for Manchester United Foundation.
The Red veterans travelled to Munich in August 2014 for the first leg against their German counterparts, with goals from Paul Scholes and Andrew Cole resulting in a 3-3 draw, so there is all to play for in the return match in June.
Following the match in August, star United striker Dwight Yorke said, “Charity is very important and even though the two clubs have rivalry in some ways it’s good to come to a special occasion to raise awareness, to raise funds and give opportunities to underprivileged kids. It’s all for a good cause and that’s why we all come out of retirement, put our boots on and play in these games.”
