The Legends are Back: New Video

United fans who have enjoyed watching their heroes in the viral Legends video can now view the eagerly-awaited sequel - 'The Unfriendly'.

Written and produced by The Mob Film Company, ‘The Comeback' featured Bryan Robson, Denis Irwin, Dwight Yorke, Lee Sharpe, Dion Dublin and Andy Cole dressed in old-school United kit, undergoing a grueling training regime as they prepare for the charity game against Real Madrid on 2nd June (Buy tickets here). The film has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of United fans all over the world.

In the sequel, ‘The Unfriendly', the legends are back and fit but they need some match practice. We see them take on a youth team under the floodlights of the Old Trafford Sports Barn, a local facility used by Manchester United Foundation for its community projects.

All the boys and girls featured in the film have been involved with Manchester United Foundation projects in the Greater Manchester area and were invited to participate as a reward for their individual successes.

Filming took place on a cold evening in March and the youths performed brilliantly as they patiently waited for the opposition to arrive. The identity of their opponents was kept top secret and a total surprise, demonstrated by their reactions when Dublin, Sharpe, Clayton Blackmore, Irwin and Robson walk out to face them.

The Red Heart United legends match between Manchester United and Real Madrid will be played at Old Trafford on Sunday 2nd June. The event will also feature live music from JLS, Amelia Lily and Tinchy Stryder. Tickets are on sale now and are available by visiting www.manutd.com/legendsareback or calling 0161 868 8000 and selecting option 9. All proceeds from the event will go to the Manchester United Foundation, to support projects that help youngsters in disadvantaged areas of Greater Manchester.
