Dancing with United

Join us on 7th March 2013 for our inaugural ‘Dancing with United' charity event featuring football legends and stars of Strictly Come Dancing.

Dancing with United

Working with the Taylor Lynn Corporation, we have secured a celebrity judging panel that includes former Strictly Come Dancing judge and award-winning choreographer Arlene Phillips, dancer and choreographer Louie Spence, and United Legends Gary Neville and Nicky Butt, plus a host of celebrity couples to entertain the audience.

Hosted by Angus Deayton and Ulrika Jonsson, this exclusive evening event will include performances from some of the programme’s previous contestants, judges and professionals, plus stars from the world of sport and showbiz including United Legends Peter Schmeichel and Quinton Fortune, plus Camilla Dallerup, Lisa Riley, Antony Cotton, Jennie McAlpine, and SKY television presenter Jacquie Beltrao.  Corrie star Shobna Gulati and former Bolton Wanderers player Fabrice Muamba are the latest celebrities to take to the dance floor.

Star of the 2012 season of Strictly Come Dancing, Lisa Riley commented, “Taking on the challenge of learning to dance has been amazing for me so I’m really thrilled to be taking part in this event, which will be a brilliant night whilst raising lots of money for a fantastic charity.  I can’t wait to put my dance shoes back on!”

On the evening, six couples will battle it out to win the inaugural Dancing with United trophy, ensuring a fun-filled event.  Guests will also enjoy live entertainment, a three-course meal and auction of money-can’t-buy prizes, including a dinner date with iconic Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli at the world famous River Café in London.  All proceeds from the event will go to the Manchester United Foundation.

The event will take place at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club.  Tables of ten are available from £1500 and individual places from £150, with premium packages on a tiered price basis also available.
