Compete alongside football legends, celebrities and Manchester United players past and present for an unforgettable golfing experience.

Now in its third year, this end of season event always proves to be a massive hit with supporters of the Manchester United Foundation.

Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Owen and Jonny Evans have all accompanied teams and taken to the fairways of this stunning championship course, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. A league of football legends and celebrities such as Alan Hansen, Denis Irwin, Patrick Kielty and Angus Deayton have also enjoyed taking part in previous years, making the Golf Day a special experience for all Manchester United and golf enthusiasts.

Proving to be as lethal at putting as he is scoring goals for the Reds, Wayne Rooney topped the leader board at last year’s event, winning both the team and individual trophies. We also raised a staggering £20,000, which is enough money to fund a one-night-a-week Community Cohesion project for an entire year.

The Golf Day is set to be as memorable as ever, and for the Manchester United Foundation it will ensure we continue to improve the lives of young people Salford, Trafford and Manchester.
