Santa Run

Kick off your family Christmas with a festive charity dash, taking in some of Manchester’s most iconic landmarks.

Santa Run 2010

Budding Santas are invited to join hundreds of others on Sunday 5th December for the annual Manchester United Foundation Santa Run.

The dash will be started by club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Reserves squad, weeks before Ole is due to leave Old Trafford in order to manage Norwegian club Molde FK.  The family fun run is suitable for all, including children, buggy walkers and those wanting to soak up the unique Manchester United experience at a slower pace.

You can run for a variety of charities including: The Christie Charity, Francis House Children’s Hospice, UNICEF, the MU Foundation, the British Heart Foundation or a charity of choice. Santa-suits will be provided for all participants, with a £10 single entry fee for adults and £5 entry for children. Family tickets are also available at £20 for two adults and two children, with one full Santa suit and three Santa hats provided.

Following the race, you can get further into the festive spirit at Old Trafford and enjoy Christmas stalls, carol singers, Fred the Red, Father Christmas in his grotto, football coaching and lots more.

Online booking is now closed for the Santa Run but you can still register on the day.
