Ladies Day at Old Trafford

Old Trafford's premier Ladies Lunch didn't fail to deliver last week.

Ladies Day at Old Trafford

High-flyers and successful business-women from all over the North West flocked to Old Trafford on the 23rd of September for the Foundation's first ever Ladies Lunch.

The event is set to become a highlight of the Foundation's fundraising calendar, following an afternoon of entertainment, fashion and beauty that certainly went down well with the crowd.

Gillian Mitchell, Project Manager for the Foundation was responsible for organising the event and was overwhelmed with the positive feedback:  "It was really great to see a room full of powerful and inspirational women getting together to raise money for charity.  We had such fantastic comments from everyone that we have to do it again, so make sure September is circled in your diary for next year's event."

The ladies enjoyed entertainment from the likes of X-factor star Chico, Manchester's very own King of Swing Cole Page and local-lad Will Mellor, who thrilled the audience with his renditions of Mustang Sally and Stevie Wonder classic, Superstition.   Coronation Street favourite and lifelong-Red Shobna Gulati also enjoyed the show and even became part of the entertainment after Cole Page initiated an impromptu duet.
