Abseil Old Trafford
Manchester United charity partners, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity and Francis House are giving you the chance to abseil from the North Stand of Old Trafford to raise vital funds for charity.
The free-air abseils, which take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th March, will give daredevils the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the pitch as they abseil 140 feet into the Theatre of Dreams.
Natalie Paintin, Regional Fundraising Manager for Cystic Fibrosis Trust said: “An abseil is the ultimate adrenalin rush, and it’s a great experience for anyone who likes a challenge! We hope lots of people sign up and get sponsored. Everyone is welcome to take part.”
Participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £140, which includes a booking fee, payable on booking. No experience is necessary and you only need to be of average fitness to take part after a few minutes training.
The charities will also offer their top fundraisers the chance to win Manchester United merchandise signed by members of the First Team.
