Abseil Old Trafford

Manchester United and charity partners the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Francis House have teamed up once again to host an abseil from the North Stand of Old Trafford to raise vital funds for the two charities.

The free-air abseils, which take place on Saturday 20th September and Sunday 21st September, will give hundreds of daredevil fans and fundraisers the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the pitch as they abseil 140 feet into the Theatre of Dreams.

Natalie Cossins, Regional Fundraising Manager for Cystic Fibrosis Trust said:  “An abseil is the ultimate adrenalin rush, and it’s a great experience for anyone, not just Red Devils, but anyone who likes a challenge! We hope lots of people sign up and get sponsored. Everyone is welcome to take part.”  No experience is necessary and you only need to be of average fitness to take part after a few minutes training.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £140, which includes a £15 booking fee payable on booking.  Those who raise over £500 in sponsorship will be entered into a draw to win a football signed by the Manchester United team and a Museum and Stadium Tour.
