Football Aid Masterclass

On Thursday 11th February 2010, the Foundation and Football Aid will host their third prestigious training day at Carrington.

Football Aid Masterclass

The Foundation has teamed up with Football Aid to help celebrate it’s 10th Anniversary - “Decade of Dreams” - by hosting another Manchester United Master Class. The day will give fans the opportunity to train at the Manchester United’s prestigious training ground in Carrington and in turn raise funds for charity.

Participants will meet at Old Trafford, where they will be welcomed by club officials and taken by coach the Carrington Training Centre.  On arrival players will be given an insight into life at the Club presented by Club staff, entitled ‘What Makes a Champion Team’.

An educational morning is turned into an adrenaline-fuelled afternoon. Expected to be on hand once again is Club Legend Denis Irwin. A fun-packed training session will be followed by a small sided (8 per team) tournament, where you will have the opportunity to show off your new found skills! To top off your day, you are invited to a post-match presentation ceremony.

Positions can be secured now by visiting the Manchester United Team Page at www.footballaid.com and choosing your team and position. The trip includes transport from Old Trafford, lunch, a personalised official Manchester United training kit, a full training session supervised by Club coaches and entry into the small sided afternoon tournament.   Players will be divided into teams of eight (though positions can still be secured individually).

If you need any help in choosing a position, or prefer to speak to someone in the Football Aid office please contact Football Aid by e-mail info@footballaid.com or call on 0131 220 5999.

All funds raised from events are distributed through Football Aid’s parent charity, Field of Dreams towards diabetes research and half of the proceeds from this event will go to the Foundation.
