The event will allow for even more Reds fans to play in a 90 minute match on the hallowed turf on Wednesday 20th May 2009.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity gives United fans the thrill of a complete matchday experience, including pulling on a personalised shirt in the changing rooms, walking down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and ultimately stepping out onto the hallowed turf of Old Trafford.

United fan Marcus Gross was ecstatic to Live his Dream. He said: “The experience of playing at Old Trafford will live with me forever.  I fulfilled a life long dream.  From the moment I walked in to the home dressing room and saw my name on the famous red shirt to the final whistle will live with me forever.”

The two matches will take place on Wednesday 20th May, and with positions still available, all you need to do is visit www.footballaid.com for information.

Football Aid was founded in 2000 by businessman and Football Aid Chairman Craig Paterson, and has so far donated over £1.3m to charitable organisations around the country. Over twenty-five clubs have already signed up to support Football Aid’s ninth season, which has over the years allowed almost 10,000 fans to play on the pitch at their favourite clubs ground.

All funds raised from events are distributed through Football Aid’s parent charity, Field of Dreams towards diabetes research, education and management projects and also to charities nominated for funding by the clubs involved in these events.  For further information, please visit www.footballaid.com or alternatively contact the sales team at info@footballaid.com.
