Our partnership

Kingfisher advocates Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development (SMSC) throughout every child’s Kingfisher journey. Every area of the child’s day at school promotes some area of SMSC be that playing with friends, sharing with others, exploring music and culture or meeting visitors from the community.

There are a number of different initiatives running throughout the school including, 1K a day, which aims to get the school moving for 30 minutes every morning and also Kingfisher to 5K, which is for parents to create a healthy lifestyle and exercise more in a social environment.

We started our partnership with Kingfisher Special School in September 2015 and have recently extended the partnership to December 2021.
