A highlight of the Club’s fundraising calendar and part of the Manchester United and UNICEF partnership, the annual dinner will be attended by the full Manchester United first-team and new manager David Moyes, plus stars from the world of sport and showbiz.

Ahead of his first Gala Dinner at the helm of the Club, David Moyes commented, “Manchester United is very proud of United for UNICEF partnership and the many young lives it has helped in the last 13 years.  In my short time as manager I have already travelled halfway around the world and witnessed first-hand the fantastic work that the charity does.  The team and I are therefore delighted to support this event.”

Ocean Colour Scene’s Old Trafford performance precedes an 11-date ‘Marchin’ Already’ tour to celebrate the tenth studio album from the Birmingham five-piece, a staggering 22 years since they released their debut single, Sway.

Hosted by Sky News sports presenter, Jacquie Beltrao, further entertainment on the night will include fundraising games and a must-bid auction, all in the name of charity.

Over the last 13 years, the United for UNICEF partnership has raised over £3million, impacting on the lives of over 3.4million vulnerable children worldwide. It is the longest running partnership of its kind between a sporting organisation and a global charity.

The partnership has recently been renewed for a further three years and the Club has pledged to raise a further £1million during that period.  This money will go towards helping vulnerable children in Vietnam who are subjected to abuse, exploitation and neglect.

David Bull, Executive Director of UNICEF UK, said: "We are immensely proud of our long-standing partnership with Manchester United and the continued commitment from the club and its fans to improving the lives of vulnerable children across the world. We are delighted that Manchester United is hosting the prestigious Gala Dinner, which will help us to reach even more children in need of our help.”

Exclusive packages are available for the United for UNICEF dinner with the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most talented sportsmen.  Guests can also upgrade for the chance to have two players join their table throughout the evening.
