Sport Relief and Manchester United Foundation have announced that six ‘99 treble-winning heroes including Jaap Stam and Ronny Johnsen will be joining the likes of Ronan Keating and Austin Healey for the celebrity football match of the year, United Relief Live: The Big Red Family Day Out.
Winning goal-scorer and current Reserve team coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will join Andy Cole, Denis Irwin, Ronny Johnsen, Jaap Stam and Dwight Yorke and a team of celebrity reds and other ex players under the watchful eye of former red Steve Coppell, to take on another pro/ celebrity XI, The Rivals, managed by former Oldham Athletic, Everton and Manchester City manager, Joe Royle.

United Relief Live is a great chance for some of the fans too young to remember it, to come to Old Trafford and a wonderful opportunity for us to be introduced to the latest generation of United fans. The quality of the acts playing and the fact it’s a Bank Holiday should help give the occasion a real family atmosphere.”
The ultimate family day out will be held at Manchester United’s legendary Old Trafford stadium on Saturday 1st May 2010.
The unique fun day kicks off with a pre-match pop concert, featuring The Saturdays, The Hoosiers and Tinchy Stryder along with an extra special performance by Britain's Got Talent dance troop Flawless and legendry crooner, Tony Christie.
This will be followed by a celebrity football match with two squads of footballing greats and celebrities going head-to-head in an un-missable star-studded show down.
Manchester United legends will be joined by celebrity supporters including Ronan Keating, Darren Campbell, Olly Murs, Max Beesley, Ricky Whittle, Keith Duffy, Tinchy Stryder, Mark Chapman and Angus Deayton.
Tackling some of their greatest rivals is opposing squad, The Rivals, featuring football aces John Barnes, Dean Holdsworth, Ian Rush, Peter Beardsley, Des Walker, Alan Thompson, as well as celebrities including Austin Healey, Tim Lovejoy, George Lamb, Jason Manford, Paddy McGuinness and Lee Mack with more names still to be announced.
Kirsty Gallagher and Anita Rani will bring all the action from the sideline, delivering a live analysis of the beautiful game. The prolific voice of The X Factor, Peter Dickson, will be the match day announcer. The game will be refereed by the legendary Graham Poll.
