Premier League 4 Sport
Get into the spirit of London 2012
Manchester United Foundation has adopted a nationwide initiative, Premier League 4 Sport, to inspire young people to try new sports ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games.
There are four sports included in the scheme – badminton, basketball, table tennis and volleyball – and each is a great way to keep fit, make new friends and learn a new skill.
Free coaching sessions for 11-19 year olds are held at schools, colleges and sports centres across Greater Manchester.

Now is in its third year, over 7000 young people have taken part in Premier League 4 Sport since it began and there has been a vast improvement in the skill level of participants, with an increasing number now competing in tournaments across the region. The project’s objectives are to inspire young people to try an Olympic sport and encourage them to participate in community sports clubs.
