Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common life-threatening inherited disease in the UK. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK’s only national charity dealing with all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis. It funds research to treat and cure CF, supports families and tries to make sure everyone gets the right care.

The partnership with Cystic Fibrosis Trust will support a pioneering study into gene therapy and help to raise money to cover the patient costs associated with a gene therapy multi-dose clinical trial programme in an attempt to find a treatment for CF. The partnership will raise awareness of the disease and raise funds for essential travel and patient costs, family expenses and accommodation. This will be the first time anywhere in the world that CF gene therapy will be studied in this way.
