Rainbow House - The Legacy

Manchester United and Rainbow house are working together to enable children for brighter futures.

Rainbow House was established in April 2001, with centres in Chorley, Cumbria and Clitheroe, currently helping 86 children with varying disabilities per week.  The centres use a method known as Conductive Education, which is a unified system of learning for children with neurological disorders.

The Legacy
A new purpose built school for children predominantly in their early years called ‘Rainbow House - The Legacy’ was officially opened in October by Manchester United first team player John O’Shea.  The Legacy and its staff work to adapt children to their community. The centre is unique, creating an environment where children can be challenged to overcome everyday obstacles they may find in their community, this includes a ‘mini-village’ that has been especially developed for this purpose.

Manchester United’s partnership with Rainbow house will raise funds for an indoor sports facility at The Legacy.
