Foundation Dream Days

As part of our ongoing commitment to charity work, we hold Dream Days throughout the year, for children and young adults with life-limiting diseases.

The days are a dream come true for the young Manchester United fans, many of whom bravely deal with intense pain and discomfort on a day to day basis. Some of the youngsters are terminally ill and meeting the players is a truly uplifting experience for them when they need it most.

The Foundation works closely with ‘wish’ charities such as Rays of Sunshine, Promise Dreams, The Willow Foundation and Dreams Come True, to organise the days. These charities specialise in granting wishes to seriously ill children and young adults.

A typical Dream Day will involve the young people and a family member/carer arriving at Manchester United’s training facilities at Carrington in time to watch the team train. Following this, they meet their heroes and have lunch. The youngsters then have the option of going on to Old Trafford for a museum and stadium tour or this opportunity can be taken at a later date.

We aim to hold at least two or three Dream Days per season.
